Meeting minutes from meeting of 8/28/07 

    • This months meeting was SAMA's 24th
    • Good crowd at this month's meeting, approx 12 attendees
    • Extensive discussion this month about the Bengals fundraiser. Bob has been instrumental in putting together what is turning out to be a very impressive fundraising event for the Parish. Rarely enough do we get a chance to "do good" for the whole Parish, here we get that chance and get in free to a Bengals game. Our thanks to all the volunteers
    • We reviewed the event at St. Joes Orphanage held August 4th. This is one of the most fun and family friendly events of the year, and went off well again this year, as years past. If you can only attend one SAMA event a year, this is it
    • The upcoming 3 Club Outing at Beech Creek is Sunday October 7th (the Bengals bye week). This is SAMA's primary fundraiser every year, and is a blast for golfers of all skill levels. At a base price of $34.00 per golfer with several deductions possible, it is also probably the most "wallet friendly" golf outing around. The admission price gets you: 9 holes with cart, two drink tickets, and meal catered by Outback. Just try and get out of Outback for $34.00! Seriously: This outing is famous for the large volume of available prizes. Even with a full turnout of 72, odds are excellent that you will leave with something.

      In fact, odds are 100% as Tim Withrow has had 100 shirts donated for the event. Come see what you are missing at this best of the year event.

    • SAMA is considering taking greeting duties the last Sunday of September for all masses. There was a sign up sheet at this month's meeting. If you are interested and didn't sign up, e-mail me (the Secretary) and I will see if spots are still available.
    • SAMA members (and all St. Ann's parishioners) are asked to keep the Sweet Family in your prayers, Grand-daughter Tory has undergone brain surgery. Keep Richard and Karen close to your hearts and in your prayers
    • Next Months Meeting is Tuesday September 25, 2007 at 7PM in the school annex, ABC meeting room.
